A game that explores physical humor, characters, some object work, commitment to initial choices and animal trivia.
Setup
This game is usually played with 3 players and 3 chairs. Each player is assigned an animal from audience suggestions. The animals enter the waiting room one by one, with physicality and sounds that resemble their animal, without talking. They can have a few seconds of spotlight, as they present themselves on stage, but then they should interact with the other animals in the room (if any) and sit down (or at least touch) on the chair. The game ends when all animals are on their chairs.
Examples
Player A is a tiger, player B is a bunny, player C is a snake.
Player A crawls to the stage, doing tiger noises and threatening paws. The tiger eventually leans on its chair.
Player B hops in, with happy hops and bunny ears. Eventually it sees the tiger, gets scared by its roars and paws, and goes hide behind one of the chairs.
Player C slithers in, with menacing eyes and tongue moves. It sometimes gets its upper body up, as if seeking preys. It tries to approach the bunny for food, but it gets in conflict with the tiger. It eventually gives up and tries to climb up the chair without using its hands (it doesn't have any).
Tips
- Embrace the animalistic behaviors, don't humanize it
- Interact with the other animals in ways that conflicts and collaboration could arise in nature
