Everyone has a tic - EVERYONE.
Setup and Format
- 3-4 players.
Have each player in the scene leave the room. One by one, each comes in and receives two things from the audience: a trigger for their tic, and a behaviour. After they have received this, they leave again. The trigger should be something relatively common like "whenever someone turns their back to you, whenever someone says 'um', whenever someone lifts up their left hand, etc".
The behaviour should be something large and obvious like "roar like a lion, do a karate kick, laugh outrageously, etc".
Once all players have a trigger and behaviour, they play out a scene. During the scene, their behaviours will trigger, but they should be happen without direct acknowledgement (i.e. ignore it). Other players don't necessarily have to guess the trigger, but once they know it, they can playfully weaponise it.
Learning Objectives
Listening and being mindful of what the trigger is for other players, while still maintaining a coherent scene.
