Players create a Rube Goldberg-esque machine where every part is a person!
Setup and Format
One person stands on stage, making a short repeating motion, optionally with sound. Everyone else gradually joins them on stage, making a motion/sound/whatever that complements or adds to the existing people on stage. Once everyone is on stage, the whole tableau should be moving/making noise/whatever in synch.
To end the exercise, the teacher says "Speed Up" or "Slow Down".
- Speed Up: Everyone's movement/sound gradually get faster and faster, until the whole machine explodes.
- Slow Down: Everyone's movement/sound gradually get slower and slower, until the whole machine stops entirely.
